There will be a joint check before your car is taken by the carrier. Take pictures of your vehicle and make sure the carrier records any damage on the Bill of Lading. Things to know
You should keep in mind that low priced quotes often result in delays in getting your vehicle loaded when comparing auto transport companies.
Size and weigh of vehicle: Longer, taller or heavier than average vehicle requires special accommodation by car transport companies and as a result the price may vary
Shipping inoperable vehicles cost more because it requires extra tools and labor for car shipping companies to accommodate the cargo. But if your car rolls, steers, and brakes, we can ship it.
Clean the vehicle before transport. The main reason you want to wash it really has nothing to do with aesthetics. You want to ensure your vehicle doesn't get damage during transport and a clean car make it easier to see dents and scratches.
Remove custom accessories: Car spoilers and other special accessories can often extend into areas while in transportation. So to prevent the risk of something breaking, make sure you remove any custom parts or accessories before the vehicle is loaded onto the car shipping truck.
